RECENT 'TWEETS' FROM FOURZEROTWO

He's just answering questions here, but at one point he says he's not discussing anything from multiplayer below "level 27"

October 14th:
Depends on the perk. Each Perk has a Pro version that has a unique benefits. It's like doubling the amount of perks there are.

Probably not. No more story spoilers from here on out, but current plan is to do a few more official videos before launch

Awesome #MW2 feature I've fallen in love with while on tour. Ability to play on a different difficulty than your coop partner in SpecOps

October 11th:
"Game Winning Kill" is in Multiplayer. Not Spec Ops. It's just one of many things we do to "make you famous" for sweet kills

That's the "Game Winning Kill". It shows the last kill in slow motion along with the Callsign of who got it to every1 ingame.

Yes. There are snow maps in #MW2 multiplayer

Can't. We're only talking about stuff below lvl 27.

I always recommend playing the Story Campaign of games first. Especially in #MW2 - we've put a lot of focus on the story of the game.

Can't give any details on Prestige Mode. We're keeping all of that under wraps for the player to figure out

You can be killed when controlling a killstreak in the air, but your killstreak won't end. You'll finish it then respawn

You customize your killstreaks independently of your create a class. So your killstreaks apply to ALL your classes.

If you have a Pro version of the perk you get the new ability plus the previous ability. It's an addition not a replacement

Riot Shield, Heartbeat Sensor, (silent & reclaimable) throwing knives, Lightweight & Commando perks. All HC S&D favorites of mine

No. Killstreaks are unlocked through normal progression unlocks through the 70 ranks.

Every weapon has a ballistics profile that determines how much it will penetrate an object, depending on that objects density.

Perks don't apply to equipment. Unless it's specifically for one. Also, Throwing knives are deadly without stopping power

It's a knife. That you throw. Has a slight arc to it, so takes skill to aim properly. If you miss, it'll stick & can be picked up.

At least 1 deathstreak is unlocked when you first get the game, and you'll unlock more as you rank up.

Yes, you have to place it once you get it. After it's placed it can be destroyed by enemies. It'll auto fire on enemies in it's fof ---- (what the crap is he talking about here????)
