tytime: In 1891 a woman slowly walked across the icy streets of Oqaatsut, Greenland holding a tiny baby boy. She was seeking shelter and knew that if she did not find it quickly both her and the boy would die. As she struggled to walk any further two shadowy figures appeared in front of her. As she approached the figures she could see that one of them was a skeleton wearing a black hood and cloak and the other was a very old man with a long gray beard and holding a very large walking stick. The woman called out to the two strange figures, "Who are you and what do you want with me?" The skeleton replied, "I am Death," while the old man said, "I am Father Time." The skeleton proceeded to say, "We are here for you. One of you will have to die today, but the other one is going to be given the gift of eternal life." The woman started to cry and she said, "You have to kill me and let the boy live forever, that is what is right." And with that both the woman and Death disappeared and the boy was laying on the icy ground alone as Father Time approached him. With one wave of his walking stick the boy grew rapidly and took the shape of a 23 year old man. The boy looked puzzled and Father Time explained, "You have been given the gift of never growing old. You will be this age for the rest of eternity." The new man looked at Father Time and all of a sudden the old man felt evil in this new mans gaze. Then Father Time dropped his stick and fell to the floor grasping his heart, "What is happening to me?" The man looked down on Father Time and said, "You are dying, it will be slow and painful." Father Time looked up and said, "why and how" The man simply replied, "Why...because you let Death take my mother....how...well, you may be Father Time....BUT I AM TYTIME!"
